Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Neurologist for a permanent position at our reputable healthcare facility in Eureka, California. This role offers a unique opportunity to provide comprehensive neurological care within a collaborative environment, serving a diverse patient population.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and manage a broad spectrum of neurological conditions, including epilepsy, stroke, neurodegenerative diseases, neuromuscular disorders, and headache conditions.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with current clinical guidelines.
Conduct thorough neurological examinations and interpret diagnostic tests such as EEG, EMG, MRI, and CT scans.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including primary care physicians, neurosurgeons, and rehabilitation specialists, to optimize patient outcomes.
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations and institutional policies.
Participate in continuous medical education and quality assurance initiatives to stay updated with advancements in neurology.
Engage in outpatient clinics, hospital consultations, and, where applicable, inpatient care.
Qualifications:
Medical degree from an accredited institution.
Completion of a specialized residency or fellowship in Neurology.
Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in California.
Board certification or eligibility in Neurology.
Proven experience in diagnosing and managing neurological disorders.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to patient care.
Ability to work effectively within a team and maintain professional standards.
