Overview:
Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in a primary care setting, providing vital medical services to our military community. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to deliver comprehensive, outcome-based primary care across multiple military treatment facilities in Colorado and Utah. You will support active-duty personnel, retirees, and their families, ensuring they receive high-quality, patient-centered care. Your clinical expertise will contribute to maintaining the health and well-being of those who serve, making a meaningful difference in their lives.
Required Skills:
Master’s Degree in Nursing or Bachelor’s Degree with Graduate Certificate from ARC-PA accredited program
Certified Nurse Practitioner via ANCC or AANP, or Certified Physician Assistant via NCCPA
Minimum of 1 year recent experience in a primary care provider role, seeing patients of all ages
Active, unrestricted medical license
Fluency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English
U.S. citizenship
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience working in military or federal healthcare settings
Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Additional certifications such as ACLS or BLS
Preferred Education and Experience:
Graduate-level education in nursing or physician assistant studies from an accredited program
Prior experience in primary care, especially within military or federal healthcare environments
Other Requirements:
Willingness to work Monday through Friday, 07:30 AM – 4:30 PM, with flexibility for occasional nights, weekends, or on-call duties
Ability to work at multiple locations within the Colorado Military Health System, including the United States Air Force Academy, Peterson Space Force Base, Schriever SFB, Buckley SFB, Fort Carson, and associated clinics
Ability to work up to 40 hours per week, with hours subject to operational needs
