Locum - Nurse Practitioner - General Medicine Houston, TX

What You'll Need:
Valid Nurse Practitioner license with certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Orthopedic Surgery, or related fields.
Prior experience in general medicine, including performing Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments.
Excellent interview skills and physical assessment capabilities, including range of motion and muscle strength testing.
Ability to work independently within a flexible schedule, including half or full-day shifts.
Strong organizational skills to handle administrative follow-up work such as report submissions and addendums.
Reliable transportation if working from your own office, with the ability to see patients within a 50-mile radius.
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience working with Veterans or in military healthcare settings.
Background in consultation or physical assessment procedures.
Familiarity with government or VA procedures and documentation.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Current Nurse Practitioner certification.
Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in general medicine or related specialties.
Experience with Compensation & Pension exams or similar assessment roles.
Other Requirements:
Candidates must reside within 50 miles of the designated work area.
Willingness to travel locally; travel expenses are included in rates.
Availability to start on or after March 6, 2026.
Successful passage of credentialing and onboarding processes, including completion of required training (training bonus provided).
