Locum Nurse Practitioner - General Medicine Houston, TX

Required Skills:
Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Texas.
Experience in general medicine, internal medicine, family medicine, or related fields.
Strong interviewing and physical assessment skills, including range of motion and muscle strength testing.
Ability to perform non-treatment exams accurately and efficiently.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Commitment to professionalism and patient confidentiality.
Nice to Have Skills:
Prior experience with compensation and pension examinations.
Familiarity with veterans' healthcare needs and protocols.
Certification in relevant medical assessments.
Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Master's degree or higher in Nursing or Nurse Practitioner certification.
Minimum of 2 years' clinical practice, especially in general medicine or related specialties.
Prior experience performing VA or DOD exams is advantageous but not required.
Other Requirements:
Willingness to travel within a 50-mile radius or operate in your own office within the specified area.
Ability to complete examinations and reports efficiently within designated time frames.
Access to your own office space if working off-site.
Openness to working on a per diem, PRN basis with ongoing opportunities.
Must pass credentialing and onboarding processes quickly.
Commitment to maintaining certifications and adherence to all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
