Position Overview:
We are looking for skilled Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners to provide high-quality urgent and emergency medical services. In this role, you will independently manage urgent care cases for both adult and pediatric patients, performing minor procedures such as I&D, lac repairs, and ear irrigations. You’ll serve as the primary provider, utilizing EPIC EMR for documentation and ensuring seamless patient care. Required Skills:
Minimum 12 months of urgent or emergency care experience
Board-certified (BC / NCCPA / NP Boards)
Valid PA or NP licensure and certification
BLS certification required
Proficiency with EPIC EMR system
Ability to independently see and treat all patients
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Capable of handling diverse cases in a fast-paced environment
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with pediatric and adult urgent care
Skilled in procedures such as I&D, lac repairs, ear irrigation
Familiarity with Medicare enrollment processes
Prior experience working in multiple clinic locations
Preferred Education and Experience:
For Physician Assistants: NCCPA certification with at least one year of urgent/emergency care experience
For Nurse Practitioners: Family NP certification with a minimum of 12 months of relevant practice
Recent graduates are not considered; candidates must have established experience
Other Requirements:
Ability to work within a 65-mile radius of home residence, supporting multiple clinics
No call requirements; supervision provided by a designated offsite physician
Willingness to undergo EMR and onboarding training prior to starting
Must pass clinical interview and credentialing process
Travel and lodging are not reimbursed; mileage reimbursement available
Support staff includes Center Managers, Medical Assistants, and Physician Supervisors
Compensation & Benefits:
Hourly pay rate of $1.00
Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit
