Job Title: Nurse Practitioner - Urgent Care / Physician Assistant - Acute & Urgent Care
Overview:
Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant specializing in Urgent Care and Acute Care services. In this vital role, you will independently manage a diverse caseload of adult and pediatric patients in a fast-paced urgent care setting, providing high-quality, compassionate care. Required Skills:
Minimum of 12 months of clinical experience in urgent or acute care.
Board Certification (BC), NCCPA certification for PAs, or Family Nurse Practitioner Certification.
Proficiency with Epic EMR system and ability to see and treat patients independently as the sole provider.
Valid BLS certification.
Strong soft skills, including excellent communication, judgment, and patient rapport.
Ability to perform minor procedures such as I&D, lac repair, and ear irrigation.
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with pediatric and adult patient care in urgent settings.
Prior experience using Epic EMR with modified training.
Comfort working within a 65-mile radius of home residence.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Nurse Practitioners must hold an active Family NP certification.
Physician Assistants should possess NCCPA certification.
Previous urgent care, emergency medicine, or family medicine experience preferred.
Other Requirements:
Availability for scheduled shifts as per assigned days.
No travel reimbursement offered; mileage compensation only within a supporting radius.
Ability to adhere to credentialing and Medicare registration processes.
Participation in clinical interviews, EMR training, and onboarding prior to solo practice.
