This flexible, part-time opportunity allows you to utilize your general medicine expertise in a rewarding environment, helping those who have served our country while maintaining your own practice.
Required Skills:
Valid Nurse Practitioner license and certification.
Proven experience in general medicine, family medicine, internal medicine, or related fields.
Strong interview and physical assessment skills, including range of motion and muscle strength testing.
Ability to perform non-treatment examinations and assessments independently.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently in your own office setting.
Reliable internet access for virtual communication and documentation.
Nice to Have Skills:
Background in compensation and pension examinations.
Prior experience with VA or military-related assessments.
Familiarity with Veteran health services and benefits.
Efficiency in completing detailed reports and documentation.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing (MSN, DNP).
At least 2 years of clinical practice in a general medicine setting.
Previous experience in conducting C&P exams or similar assessments is advantageous.
Other Requirements:
Must own and operate a suitable office location within the specified radius of designated cities.
Willingness to travel to various locations within the defined geographic areas.
Ability to commit on a PRN basis, with flexible scheduling options.
Successful credentialing and onboarding process.
No prescribing or treatment responsibilities; focus solely on assessments.
Compliance with all state, federal, and local laws regarding licensure and practice.
Compensation & Benefits:
Hourly flat rate of $600 for 4-hour shifts or less.
Daily flat rate of $1200 for shifts of 5 hours or longer.
One-time bonus of $650 after completing initial training and first exams.
Weekly pay via direct deposit.
Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2), paid sick time, and reimbursements for licensure, certifications, travel, and other eligible expenses.
