Overview:
Blanchard Valley Urology Associates, part of the esteemed Blanchard Valley Health System, is seeking a dedicated full-time Nurse Practitioner with experience in urology or gynecology. This role offers the opportunity to deliver high-quality outpatient urologic care within a progressive, technology-driven environment that values professional growth and staff wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
Independently manage and coordinate outpatient urologic care for adult patients in a busy clinical setting.
Handle a patient caseload of approximately 15-20 per clinic day, including new and returning patients.
Perform pre-operative evaluations and post-operative follow-up care to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, medications, and recovery processes.
Order, interpret, and communicate diagnostic tests and laboratory results effectively.
Conduct occasional inpatient rounding as needed to support comprehensive patient care.
Document all clinical encounters accurately within the Cerner/Oracle Health EMR system, utilizing AI-assisted tools to enhance documentation efficiency.
Participate in ongoing professional development, staying current with advances in urology care and clinical standards.
Ensure compliance with all institutional policies, regulatory standards, and quality metrics.
Qualifications:
Valid Nurse Practitioner license with current certification.
