We are seeking dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to be integral members of our high-performing general surgery team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, assisting in a wide range of surgeries including general, orthopedics, OB/GYN, urology, and ENT, with the chance to advance your expertise and impact patient outcomes directly.
Required Skills:
Valid and active licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Prior experience or demonstrated interest in surgical settings, preferably in general surgery
Strong clinical judgment and decision-making abilities
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Basic knowledge of perioperative care and surgical protocols
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience working in orthopedics, obstetrics/gynecology, urology, or ENT surgeries
Familiarity with surgical documentation and electronic health records systems
Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or perioperative nursing credentials
Preferred Education and Experience:
Master's degree in Nursing (for NP) or Physician Assistant studies from an accredited program
At least 2 years of experience in a surgical or hospital setting is preferred
Prior experience in assisting with high-volume surgical cases (90-110 weekly)
Other Requirements:
Ability to work Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with potential rotating weekends
Capacity to support occasional extended hours when cases run over
Commitment to maintaining certifications and licensure
Willingness to support hospital staff and assist in complex surgical procedures
