Exciting Opportunity for Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants in General Surgery!

We are seeking dedicated Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to provide exceptional support in a fast-paced, high-volume surgical environment. This role offers the chance to work alongside experienced surgeons in a collaborative setting, assisting with a variety of cases including General Surgery, Orthopedics, Urology, Ob/Gyn, and ENT. You'll be integral to the operating room team, helping deliver top-tier patient care during scheduled surgeries and occasional longer cases. With a Monday through Friday schedule and potential rotating weekends, this position promises a balanced work-life. Be a vital part of a supportive team committed to excellence and patient success.
Required Skills:
Valid LAPC or PA license in good standing
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Proven clinical experience in surgical settings, preferably with General Surgery, Orthopedics, or related fields
Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and perioperative care
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to assist with surgical cases efficiently and accurately
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience working in OR teams with scrub techs and circulating RNs
Prior experience with a high patient volume (90-110 cases weekly)
Familiarity with hospital protocols and workflows
Additional certifications relevant to surgery or specialty areas
Preferred Education and Experience:
Master's degree as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant from an accredited program
Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in surgical or perioperative care
Other Requirements:
Willingness to assist in surgical cases during occasional longer hours
Ability to travel and reimbursements for licensure, certification, travel, and related expenses when applicable
Dedicated team player ready to contribute to a busy surgical department
