Midwife (Full-Scope) – Arlington, TX Midwifery practice with a supportive hospital team—cover labor & delivery in a full-scope role and provide postpartum and triage care. What You’ll Do
Provide full-scope midwifery care in an inpatient hospital setting
Support patients throughout labor and delivery, including inpatient call coverage
Perform first assist as required during delivery and related procedures
Provide postpartum care and follow-up services
Manage OB triage and collaborate with the care team as needed
Perform well-woman gynecologic exams across the lifespan
Contribute to quality care in a high-volume environment (annual births: 1,300–1,500)
What You Need Required
Minimum 2 years of full-scope midwifery experience
Minimum 2 years of recent first assist experience
First assist experience within the past 2 years
Active Texas Medical License
Active Texas DEA
Ability to work in-house call shifts (12-hour or 24-hour) and cover 3–7 shifts per month
Preferred
Experience in managing intrapartum, postpartum, and OB triage in a hospital setting (noted as preferred)
Board Certified status (if applicable/available)
