What You’ll Do:
Conduct mental health screenings and assessments through record review and interviews
Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans for inmates
Document all treatment and evaluation activities accurately in health records
Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information
Apply psychological counseling theories and techniques with caseload individuals
Provide mental health assessments, crisis intervention, and counseling as needed
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality care delivery
What You Need:
CA Licensed (LCSW or LPCC) – current and active
Minimum of 1 year of mental health counseling experience preferred
Strong knowledge of psychological principles and confidentiality standards
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
US Citizenship (for ICE clearance purposes)
About the Assignment:
This role places you as a Mental Health Therapist within a correctional facility, responsible for delivering non-medical clinical mental health services.
