Mental Health Coordinator - LPC, LCSW, LMFT in San Diego, CA

Pay & Benefits
  • Hourly Rate: $58.96
  • Pay package discussed upon application

What You’ll Do
  • Conduct mental health screenings and assessments for inmates based on review of records and clinical interviews
  • Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans tailored to inmate needs
  • Document all treatment and evaluation activities accurately in healthcare records
  • Maintain confidentiality of all sensitive mental health information
  • Deliver evidence-based psychological counseling and crisis intervention as required
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of counseling theories and techniques
  • Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal mental health services for inmates

What You Need
  • Valid LCSW, LPC, or LMFT license
  • Minimum of 2 years mental health experience, preferably in correctional settings
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and crisis management skills
  • Ability to work independently and handle sensitive situations with discretion
  • US citizenship (due to ICE clearance requirements) – full clearance may take up to 60+ days; facility will expedite once documentation is submitted
