Are you a licensed mental health professional passionate about making a difference in people's lives? We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Coordinator to provide vital clinical mental health services in a dynamic facility setting. This role offers an opportunity to apply your expertise in a rewarding environment, contributing to the well-being and rehabilitation of individuals in need.
What You Will Do:
Conduct comprehensive mental health screenings and assessments based on available records and clinical interviews.
Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans tailored to each person's needs and level of functioning.
Document all treatment activities and evaluations accurately within health care records, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
Demonstrate thorough knowledge of psychological counseling theories and techniques through effective treatment activities.
Provide mental health assessments, counseling, and crisis intervention to support individuals in the facility.
Required Skills:
Active licensure as an LPC, LCSW, or LMFT in good standing.
Proven experience conducting mental health assessments and developing treatment plans.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, managing a caseload effectively.
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience working in correctional or institutional settings.
Additional certifications related to crisis intervention or trauma.
Bilingual abilities to serve diverse populations.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Master's degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or relevant field.
Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in mental health services, preferably in structured or institutional settings.
Other Requirements:
Must have valid Social Security card and Driver's License for facility clearance.
Willingness to work days (40 hours weekly), with flexibility for scheduling as needed.
Travel and licensure reimbursement may be provided when applicable.
This position offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $58.96, with a 40-hour workweek, scheduled for 8-hour shifts during daytime hours.
