Required Skills:
Minimum of 3 years of hospital-based medical-surgical nursing experience
Proficiency with the EPIC electronic medical record system
Ability to assess patient needs and develop comprehensive care plans
Strong communication and critical thinking skills
Ability to work effectively within a team
Nice to Have Skills:
Travel nursing experience
Critical drip management experience
CVA (Stroke) care experience
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher degree
Prior experience working in telemetry units or emergency department settings
Other Requirements:
Willingness to work either day or night shifts, with flexibility for scheduling
Strong commitment to patient safety and quality
Ability to commit to ongoing professional development
This position offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $46.90, with shifts scheduled from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, totaling 12 hours per shift. Whether you’re looking for full-time hours or flexible per diem work, local caregivers are encouraged to apply. No county restrictions apply for per diem positions, and a minimum commitment of two shifts per month is preferred.
