Experience: Med-Surg experience required; Hematology/Oncology experience preferred but not required
Pay & Benefits:
Hourly Pay: $59.18/hr

What You’ll Do:
Provide high-quality care to oncology and med-surg patients, including blood transfusions, chemotherapy, and IV therapy
Monitor and interpret telemetry, dysrhythmias, and use Rapid Response Teams effectively
Manage central lines, PICC lines, and peripheral IVs; perform blood draws and IV insertions
Administer blood products and medications following standard protocols
Educate patients on their treatments and discharge planning
Adhere to infection prevention and fall prevention protocols
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
What You Need:
Valid Ohio RN license and BLS/ACLS certifications
Minimum of one year of medical-surgical nursing experience
Experience with oncology procedures and telemetry monitoring highly preferred
Strong critical thinking and communication skills
Ability to float to other Med/Surg and Oncology units as needed
About the Assignment:
This assignment is scheduled at a top-tier oncology unit specializing in hematology and cancer care. The unit manages complex diagnoses such as lymphoma, multiple myeloma, leukemias, sickle cell disease, and other hematologic and benign conditions. You will support chemotherapy administration, oncologic emergencies, and blood product management within a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.
