Medical Surgical Oncology Registered Nurse

This pivotal role offers the opportunity to work in a specialized environment, providing advanced care to patients undergoing cutting-edge treatments such as transplants and CAR-T therapy. Required Skills:
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Medical-Surgical (MS) and Oncology units
  • Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and interpretation of dysrhythmias
  • Skilled in blood product administration, central and peripheral line care, and PICC line management
  • Experience with feeding tube care and management
  • Competent in rapid response team protocols and patient assessment
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Chemotherapy Certification
  • Hematology-oncology experience with diagnoses such as leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, and related disorders
  • Experience with stem cell transplants (autologous, allogeneic, syngeneic) and CAR-T therapy

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in good standing
  • At least 1 year of oncology or hematology experience, with strong preference for transplant and complex hematologic disorder background

Other Requirements:
  • Must possess BLS certification; additional certifications such as ACLS and Chemotherapy Certification are preferred
  • Ability to work a 12-hour night shift scheduled from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with one position available
  • Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care in an fast-paced environment

This position offers an hourly pay rate of $59.18, with competitive benefits including weekly direct deposit pay, comprehensive medical coverage, paid sick leave, and reimbursements for licensure, certifications, travel, and related expenses.
