Crucial Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in Medical-Surgical and Oncology units.
Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation.
Experience with blood product administration, central and peripheral line management, and feeding tube care.
Ability to effectively utilize Rapid Response Teams.
Strong assessment and patient management skills.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Desired Skills and Certifications:
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Chemotherapy Certification.
Hematology/Oncology experience, particularly with leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, and stem cell transplants.
Familiarity with complex procedures such as CAR-T therapy and stem cell transplants.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher.
Previous experience in oncology or hematology units.
Knowledge of specific patient diagnoses such as ALL, AML, Hodgkin's and Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, myelodysplastic syndromes, and related disorders.
Additional Requirements:
Valid RN license in the applicable state.
Ability to work either day shift (07:00 - 19:00) or night shift (19:00 - 07:30) for 12-hour shifts.
Willingness to comply with all hospital policies and safety protocols.
Valid certification in BLS; ACLS and ONS chemotherapy certification preferred.
This position offers an hourly pay rate of $59.18, with benefits including competitive pay packages, weekly direct deposit payments, comprehensive medical benefits (W-2), and a robust referral bonus program.
