We are seeking dedicated and experienced RN professionals to deliver exceptional care on our MedSurg 2W unit. This vital role offers you the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your skills contribute directly to patient recovery and well-being. Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients on the MedSurg 2W unit, ensuring safety, comfort, and optimal outcomes.
Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with flexibility to float to rehabilitation units based on census needs.
Utilize the Meditech EMR system efficiently for documentation and patient management.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care plans.
Maintain adherence to all hospital policies and standards of practice.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Valid RN license in the state of employment.
Minimum of 1 year of current med-surg nursing experience.
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to adapt to fast-paced, changing environments.
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience working in a travel RN capacity.
Additional certifications such as BLS, ACLS.
Experience with Meditech EMR system.
Flexibility to float to rehab units as needed.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher preferred.
At least 2 years of recent med-surg nursing experience.
Prior experience in a hospital setting.
Other Requirements:
Ability to work the 7A-7P shift schedule.
Travel RN candidates should be comfortable with the 1:7 staffing ratio and floating.
Must possess or be willing to obtain necessary certifications and licenses.
Willingness to stay updated with hospital protocols and best practices.
