This vital role involves overseeing the care of patients on the acute unit, performing initial assessments, developing care plans, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality nursing services. You will collaborate closely with physicians, NP, case management, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate smooth patient discharges and comprehensive care. Your expertise will directly impact patient outcomes, safety, and satisfaction in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Required Skills:
Med/Surg Experience required
Schedule: Night shift 7p-7a on a 7 on 7 off blocked rotation
Current RN licensure in Louisiana
BLS/CPR, ACLS, CPI/MOAB/EDGE certifications (PALS preferred for Med/Surg, required in ED)
Proficiency in IV insertion, medication administration, specimen collection, and documentation
Strong communication, leadership, and clinical skills
Ability to respond promptly to emergencies, including code blue situations
This position offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $50.00, with weekly pay via direct deposit. Per diem is not applicable for this assignment.
