Key Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality mammographic imaging in accordance with established protocols and safety standards.
Assist radiologists in diagnostic procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Ensure adherence to all radiation safety policies and procedures.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to support accurate diagnosis and effective patient care.
Required Skills:
Minimum of 2 years of specialized experience in mammography.
ARRT Certification in Mammography and current BLS certification.
Strong understanding of breast imaging procedures and safety protocols.
Excellent communication and patient care skills.
Ability to operate and troubleshoot mammography equipment effectively.
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with digital breast tomosynthesis (3D mammography).
Prior experience in a women’s health or breast imaging center.
Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
Bilingual abilities to better serve diverse patient populations.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Certification as ARRT in Mammography.
Related radiology or imaging technology degree.
At least 2 years of experience working in breast imaging within a healthcare setting.
Other Requirements:
BLS certification required at the time of employment.
Travel or relocation assistance, including licensure, certification, or travel reimbursements, may be available as applicable.
Position scheduled for 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, for an initial 13-week assignment at Gwinnett Women’s Breast Imaging Center, located at 631 Professional Drive, Suite 250, Lawrenceville, Georgia 30046.
This role offers a competitive pay rate of $60.97 per hour, weekly pay via direct deposit, comprehensive medical benefits (W-2), and generous referral bonuses. We are committed to supporting your success with a dedicated team available 24/7 to assist you throughout your assignment. Paid sick leave and other reimbursements are provided in accordance with all applicable laws.
