Are you a dedicated healthcare professional passionate about women’s health and diagnostic imaging? We are seeking an experienced Mammographer to provide exceptional imaging services that directly impact patient outcomes. This vital role supports early detection and diagnosis, ensuring patients receive the best possible care. Required Skills:
Valid and current Alabama Medical Assistant License (Perm MA license)
Extensive knowledge of mammography protocols and procedures
Proficiency with Hologic mammography units or similar imaging equipment
Excellent patient communication and compassionate care skills
Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety standards
Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
Nice to Have Skills:
Prior experience performing diagnostic mammograms
Certification in mammography (ARRT or equivalent)
Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations
Knowledge of PACS and digital imaging systems
Preferred Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent; certification in Radiologic Technology or Mammography preferred
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a clinical mammography setting
Familiarity with hospital or outpatient imaging centers
Other Requirements:
Availability to work shifts from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday
Ability to handle approximately 15 diagnostic procedures on select days, with regular screening sessions
Flexibility to handle travel reimbursements or certifications as needed
Compensation and Benefits:
Hourly Pay Rate: $68.91
