Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mammographer to perform and interpret breast imaging procedures with precision and compassion. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality screening and diagnostic mammograms, ensuring patient comfort and safety. This role is essential in early detection and diagnosis of breast health issues, contributing directly to improved patient outcomes. Required Skills
Valid California (or relevant state) Medical Assistant License or certification
Minimum of 1-2 years experience in mammography imaging
Proficiency with Hologic mammography units or similar digital imaging technology
Strong knowledge of breast anatomy, pathology, and imaging protocols
Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to follow safety protocols and ensure patient comfort
Attention to detail in image acquisition and documentation
Nice to Have Skills
Additional certifications in breast imaging (e.g., MQSA certification)
Experience with digital breast tomosynthesis (DBT)
Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Ability to handle a fast-paced clinical environment
Preferred Education and Experience
Associate’s degree or higher in Radiologic Technology or related field
Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography and Mammography
Prior experience in a hospital or outpatient imaging center
Other Requirements
Perm licensure required for employment
Ability to work full-time hours, primarily from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM
Willingness to handle scheduled screenings, diagnostics, and occasional equipment-related tasks
Local candidates preferred, with a slight pay reduction available for non-local applicants
The hourly pay rate is $73.92, with competitive benefits.
