What You’ll Do
Provide comprehensive direct patient care to adult and geriatric oncology patients
Administer chemotherapy and monitor for adverse reactions
Assist with clinical trials, data collection, and documentation
Perform specialized procedures such as brachytherapy and central line management
Implement infection prevention protocols and ensure patient safety
Interpret telemetry EKGs and respond to arrhythmias and changes in patient condition
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and utilize rapid response resources
Manage feeding tubes, IV therapy, blood products, and assist with patient mobility
What You Need
Required:
Ohio RN license
BLS certification
At least 2 years of Med Surg/Tele experience
Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and procedures such as chemotherapy administration
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
Preferred:
Oncology-specific certifications (e.g., ONS Chemotherapy Certification)
