What You’ll Do
  • Provide direct patient care to adult and geriatric oncology patients, including those with endometrial, bladder, renal, ovarian, and cervical cancers
  • Administer chemotherapy treatments with vigilant monitoring for adverse reactions
  • Assist with clinical trials, data collection, and documentation
  • Perform specialized procedures such as brachytherapy and CBI
  • Implement and adhere to infection prevention protocols and patient safety measures
  • Monitor telemetry readings, interpret dysrhythmias, and respond to clinical changes
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and participate in rapid response efforts
  • Manage feeding tube care, IV therapy, blood product administration, and central line maintenance
  • Utilize EPIC electronic health records for accurate documentation

What You Need
  • Valid RN license in Ohio (or eligible for licensure)
  • Minimum 2 years of Med Surg/Telemetry experience
  • Current BLS certification
  • Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation
  • Experience with oncology procedures like chemotherapy administration and brachytherapy
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Preferred: Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) or certification in Chemotherapy
