Join Our Team as a MS/Tele Registered Nurse and Make a Difference!
We are seeking dedicated and skilled MS/Tele Registered Nurses to provide exceptional patient care within a correctional healthcare environment. This vital role supports Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections facilities, ensuring safety and quality care for inmates with diverse medical needs, including oncology and complex medical-surgical cases. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will have the opportunity to work in a secure, fast-paced setting that demands professionalism, clinical expertise, and compassion.
Required Skills:
Valid RN license and current BLS certification.
EPIC electronic charting experience.
Strong knowledge of medical-surgical, telemetry, and telehealth nursing.
Ability to interpret and manage cardiac dysrhythmias.
Proficiency in IV therapy, medication administration, and patient monitoring.
Excellent critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
Flexibility to float between units and adapt to changing patient care needs.
Nice to Have Skills:
Oncology experience (preferred but not mandatory).
Experience with Pyxis medication systems.
Familiarity with hospice, palliative, or behavioral health care.
Bilingual abilities are a plus but not required.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Current RN license in the state.
Minimum of 2 years’ medical-surgical or telemetry nursing experience.
Previous correctional healthcare experience is advantageous.
Other Requirements:
Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (19:00 - 07:30) on a rotating schedule.
Willingness to float across various units as needed.
Must be authorized to work and hold applicable certifications.
