What You'll Bring to the Table:
Minimum of 2 years of recent MRI experience in a hospital or clinic setting
Proficiency in imaging procedures including abdomen, pelvis, head and neck, spine, musculoskeletal, diffusion (non-brain), gradient echo imaging, MIP, MRP, peripheral magnetic resonance, spin echo images, surface coils, T1 and T2, CINE
Valid ARRT certification and BLS certification
Strong knowledge of GE and Siemens MRI equipment
Experience with EPIC patient documentation and communication systems
Ability to float and adapt to different units as needed
Excellent patient care and communication skills
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with chest imaging and image post-processing
Additional certifications in specialized MRI techniques
Previous experience working during storm or disaster events
Preferred Education and Experience:
Relevant associate or bachelor's degree in radiologic technology or related field
Prior experience working in cardiology or high-acuity radiology settings
Experience working with diverse patient populations including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
Other Requirements:
Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
Ability to start within a flexible window based on Novant’s schedule (Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday), with full availability for orientation and onboarding
Willingness to participate in storm or hurricane teams if needed
Compliance with all licensure, certification, travel reimbursements, and hospital policies
