What You’ll Do:
Perform advanced MRI scans in radiology and cardiology specialties, including MRCP, MRA, MRV, and more
Utilize GE, Siemens, and PACS systems to capture high-quality images
Follow strict safety and isolation protocols, prepare and administer contrast media, and start peripheral IVs
Float seamlessly between NHRMC and NHRMC Ortho units, providing flexible coverage
Participate in hospital orientation and ongoing professional development
Required Skills:
Minimum of 2 years of recent MRI experience in adult acute care, ICU, outpatient, ER/Trauma settings
Proficiency with MRI equipment (GE, Siemens), PACS, and EPIC documentation systems
Certification in BLS and ARRT MR and R
Knowledge of contrast media administration, starting peripheral IVs, and imaging techniques such as diffusion, MIP, MRP, and surface coils
Ability to work night shifts on a 3x12-hour schedule (18:30 - 07:00)
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with specialized imaging such as abdominal MRA, perfusion studies, and cranial or orbits MRI
Additional certifications in advanced MRI procedures
Prior experience floating between different hospital units and handling high-stakes situations
Preferred Education and Experience:
ARRT certification in MR and R
2+ years of recent MRI tech experience, particularly in hospital settings
Strong familiarity with adult acute care and ICU environments
Other Requirements:
Current ARRT MR and R certifications
Ability to work night shifts consistently and adapt to schedule changes
Willingness to participate in storm/hurricane teams and report during catastrophic events
Must have full availability during orientation and initial training
Travel reimbursement and licensure/certification expenses covered when applicable
