Duration: Ongoing until additional providers are hired
Shift: Physicians: 7:00 am – 7:00 pm; Midwives: 7:00 pm – 7:00 am
Hours per Week: Full-time (approximately 40 hours)
Employment Type: Locum/Temporary
License/Certifications: Ohio medical license, CNM (for midwives) or physician credentialing
Experience: Prior OB/GYN and labor/delivery experience preferred
Pay & Benefits
Hourly Pay Rate: $19,500.00 per month (equivalent to approximately $162.50/hour)
Benefits: Pay package discussed upon application; reimbursement for flight, hotel, rental car, and mileage at IRS standard rates
What You'll Do
Provide labor and delivery care to low and high-risk obstetric patients
Manage routine and complicated deliveries, including C-sections and VBACs
Collaborate with RNs and CNMs on the L&D team to ensure exceptional patient outcomes
Perform obstetric procedures such as breech deliveries, multiple births, and emergency interventions
Document patient care efficiently using the Epic EMR system
Support the unit’s operational needs during scheduled shifts and on-call times
What You Need
Valid Ohio medical license and applicable OB/GYN or CNM certifications
Experience in labor and delivery, preferably with high-risk obstetrics
Proficiency in obstetric procedures and emergency obstetric care
Ability to work flexible hours, including overnight shifts
Strong communication and teamwork skills

This assignment is based at a leading facility in Warren, Ohio, specializing in labor and delivery services. The team includes a full-time laborist physician and a CNM, with onsite support staff and ultrasound/lab facilities. Flexibility in scheduling provides a dynamic work environment dedicated to maternal-fetal health.
