Duration: Ongoing locum coverage until perm onboarding
Shift: Mon-Fri + call, 1:6 call ratio
Hours/Week: Full-time
Employment Type: Locum-to-permanent opportunity
License/Certifications: Board-Certified in Non-Invasive Cardiology
Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable
Paid sick time in accordance with all applicable laws

What You’ll Do
Provide inpatient and outpatient cardiology services, including electrocardiograms (EKGs)
Support existing cardiology staff during recruitment phase
Manage adult/geriatric patient populations with compassionate care
Document patient encounters efficiently in EPIC EMR system
Collaborate with healthcare team members, including supervising four APCs
Contribute to patient care continuity and quality improvement initiatives
Participate in call coverage for acute patient needs
What You Need
Board Certification in Cardiology (Non-Invasive)
Active Virginia medical license or eligibility
Minimum of 2 years’ cardiology experience preferred
Strong clinical skills in inpatient and outpatient settings
Effective communication and teamwork skills
