Job Title: Locum - OB Hospitalist - Bakersfield, CA

Licenses/Certifications: Valid CA medical license, DEA, BLS required
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in OB hospitalist services preferred
Pay & Benefits:
Pay Rate: $195.00 per hour
Benefits: Competitive pay package, weekly pay via direct deposit, comprehensive medical benefits (W-2), robust referral bonus program, paid sick leave per applicable laws, licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable
What You’ll Do:
Provide OB hospitalist services in a busy hospital setting
Manage antepartum, inpatient, and postpartum care
Collaborate with nursing and medical staff to ensure patient safety and quality care
Respond to obstetric emergencies and oversee labor and delivery processes
Support high-risk pregnancies and coordinate care with specialists as needed
Document patient care and outcomes in hospital EMR system
Participate in on-call rotations and handle obstetric cases as scheduled
What You Need:
Valid California medical license
NBCRNA certification
BLS certification
At least 2 years of OB hospitalist experience
Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
