End Date / Duration: Ongoing, with potential extensions starting August 2026
Shift: 24-hour call (7 am – 7 am)
Hours/week: Approximately 10-15 shifts per month
Employment Type: Locum, Contract
Licenses/Certifications: Colorado Medical License or IMLC, Board Certified/Eligible in OBGYN
Experience: Prior OB/GYN practice experience preferred

What You’ll Do:
Provide general obstetric and gynecological care to diverse patient populations
Manage patient visits, screenings, and follow-up care
Participate in emergency and scheduled obstetric procedures
Collaborate with support staff, including RN, to ensure patient safety and quality care
Document patient encounters using Epic EMR
Support coverage needs in a hospital setting with no trauma or rated emergency scope
Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and policies
What You Need:
Current Colorado Medical License or IMLC
Minimum of 2 years OB/GYN practice experience
Proficiency with Epic EMR (experience preferred)
Ability to work 24-hour call shifts and manage obstetric emergencies
Strong communication and teamwork skills
About the Assignment:
Join a professional team at a leading hospital in Fort Morgan, CO. This role involves providing OB/GYN care for a rural hospital with approximately 15 deliveries per month. The facility supports general OB services, including routine deliveries and obstetric emergencies, with back-up general surgery support and limited urology coverage.
