Experience: Prior hospitalist or OB/GYN hospital rounding experience preferred

What You’ll Do:
Cover labor and delivery units as a hospitalist OB provider.
Manage both low and high-risk pregnancies, including complex cases such as Toxemia, Diabetes, and multiple births.
Perform routine obstetric procedures including FHR interpretation, ultrasounds, and delivery support.
Assist with cesarean sections, breech deliveries, VBACs, and operative procedures.
Collaborate with OB residents, nursing staff, and midwives to ensure patient safety.
Document care in the EMR system and oversee patient management in a Level III NICU environment.
Provide care for gynecological procedures as needed.
What You Need:
Ohio Medical License and current DEA registration.
Board Certified or Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
Minimum of 2+ years clinical experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of obstetric procedures, high-risk management, and EMR documentation.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
About the Assignment:
This assignment takes place at a reputable hospital in Toledo, OH, which is a Level III NICU and Level 4 L&D service. The facility is a teaching hospital with OB residents assisting during labor and delivery. This temporary assignment aims to support the hospital during a staffing shortage while delivering excellent maternity care.
