What You’ll Do
Conduct comprehensive eye exams for correctional facility patients
Prescribe and fit eyewear and contact lenses
Document patient history and exam findings accurately
Collaborate with correctional staff and healthcare team
Follow facility policies and adhere to safety guidelines
Maintain timely and detailed medical records
Ensure compliance with all licensing, certification, and facility requirements
What You Need
Required:
Valid optometry license for South Carolina
Relevant professional experience (check credentials with VHS)
Ability to work in correctional healthcare environment
Preferred:
Experience working in correctional or federal healthcare settings
Strong interpersonal skills and adaptability
