Join Our Team as a Locum Physician - Wound Care in Batavia, OH
Elevate your medical career by providing vital wound care services in a dynamic outpatient setting. As a Locum Physician, you will deliver comprehensive wound management, treat diverse types of wounds, and educate patients on preventative and care techniques, ensuring optimal healing outcomes.
Required Skills:
Valid medical license in the state of Ohio
Board certification or eligibility in relevant specialty (e.g., General Surgery, Wound Care, or Vascular Surgery)
Proven experience in wound assessment, management, and treatment
Proficiency with electronic medical records, particularly Epic
Strong clinical skills in treating skin reactions, vascular and diabetic ulcers, pressure ulcers, and traumatic wounds
Ability to supervise hyperbaric oxygen therapy and other advanced wound treatments
Excellent patient education and communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with bioengineered skin, skin grafting, and negative pressure wound therapy
Prior exposure to hyperbaric oxygen treatment (HBOT)
Familiarity with complex wound protocols and multidisciplinary approaches
Bilingual abilities or additional language skills
Preferred Education and Experience:
Medical degree (MD or DO)
At least 2 years of clinical experience in wound care or related fields
Previous locum or temporary staffing experience is a plus
Other Requirements:
Willingness to provide coverage from December 22, 2025, through March 31, 2026
Ability to handle 15-30 patient consultations daily
Travel and accommodation arrangements reimbursed (flight, mileage, hotel, rental car)
Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced outpatient environment
