Are you an experienced radiologist seeking a flexible and rewarding locum opportunity? We are seeking a dedicated Physician in Radiology to provide high-quality imaging interpretations at Wooster Community Hospital. Your expertise will support emergency and outpatient radiology services, including coverage of stroke/perfusion imaging and a variety of modalities such as XR, CT, MR, US, and NM. Required Skills:
Valid medical license in Ohio or eligibility for licensure
Board certification or eligibility in Diagnostic Radiology
Proficiency in interpreting CT (excluding Cardiac CT), XR, MR, US, and NM modalities
Ability to read high-volume ER cases and manage acute imaging needs
Experience with stroke/perfusion studies and emergency imaging protocols
Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
Nice to Have Skills:
Prior experience with MERGE imaging systems
Ability to read all types of CT scans, including advanced neuro and MSK cases
Familiarity with hospital workflows and emergency radiology settings
Preferred Education and Experience:
MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
Completion of residency in Radiology
Minimum of 2 years of radiology practice, preferred but not required
Licensed or pending licensure in Ohio
Other Requirements:
Willingness to work remotely and onsite as needed
Capable of handling a daily volume of 90-100 cases, with expected 60-70 wRVUs per shift
Availability to start by March 6, 2026
Must include malpractice coverage in rates and adhere to all state and federal licensure requirements
