Are you an experienced radiologist seeking a dynamic locum opportunity to make a meaningful impact? We are looking for a dedicated and highly skilled Physician specializing in Radiology to provide critical imaging services in Leesburg, FL. This role offers flexibility, competitive compensation, and the chance to work in a supportive environment committed to your professional success.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform a wide range of radiological exams including CT, MR, X-ray, ultrasound, and fluoroscopy.
Interpret and report on diverse cases with a focus on emergency and neuro imaging.
Ensure high-quality patient care and accurate diagnostic interpretations under flexible scheduling needs, including some weekends.
Collaborate with a dedicated team to uphold best practices and maintain seamless workflow.
Required Skills:
Valid medical license to practice radiology in Florida.
Proven proficiency in code stroke (CT Perfusion), MRI, and CT abdominal/pelvis exams.
Strong interpretative skills across multiple modalities.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with remote radiology reading.
Familiarity with ER and neuro case volumes.
Additional certifications in advanced imaging techniques.
Preferred Education and Experience:
MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
Board-certified or Board-eligible in Radiology.
At least 2 years of post-residency experience in general radiology, preferably with neuro and stroke case expertise.
Other Requirements:
Availability to start on or before February 2, 2026.
Ability to work flexible shifts, including some weekends.
Comfortable with workload expectations of 90-100 cases per shift and maintaining quality standards.
