Are you a dedicated radiologist seeking flexible assignment opportunities? We are seeking a highly skilled Locum Physician specializing in Diagnostic Radiology to provide exceptional imaging interpretation services. This is a vital role supporting emergency and inpatient diagnostics, ensuring timely and accurate patient care. Whether working remotely or onsite, you will be instrumental in maintaining the quality of radiological services in a dynamic hospital setting.
Required Skills:
Proven experience reading general diagnostic studies including MR, CT, US, and X-ray
Proficiency with EMR systems, specifically Cerner
Strong knowledge of PACS systems, preferably Merge PACS
Excellent diagnostic accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and efficiently within a fast-paced environment
Good communication skills and professionalism
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with voice recognition software such as Nuance PowerScribe 360
Previous work experience in hospital emergency departments and inpatient settings
Familiarity with night shift workflows and protocols
Bilingual abilities are a plus
Preferred Education and Experience:
MD or DO degree with valid medical license in California, Colorado, Michigan, South Carolina, or Florida
Active board certification in Diagnostic Radiology
At least 2 years of post-residency clinical experience in diagnostic imaging
Prior locum or temp staffing experience is advantageous
Other Requirements:
Reside in California, Colorado, Michigan, South Carolina, or Florida
Availability to start as soon as credentialed, ideally mid-September
Must be flexible to work night shifts from 12 AM to 8 AM PT
Commitment to coverage for 3 to 6 months, with availability on any day, Monday through Sunday
Willingness to work full time (average 20-25 US studies, 25-30 CT/MR, and 150-200 X-ray studies daily)
Equipment will be provided, including workstation and access to Merge PACS and Nuance PowerScribe 360
