Exciting Locum Physician Opportunity in Otolaryngology—Join Our Level II Trauma Center Coverage!
Are you an experienced ENT specialist seeking a meaningful and flexible locum position? We are actively recruiting a dedicated Otolaryngologist to provide critical weekend call coverage at a respected Level II Trauma Center. This role offers the chance to impact patient care in a dynamic hospital environment while enjoying competitive compensation and comprehensive support.
As a Locum Physician, you will be instrumental in maintaining round-the-clock ENT coverage essential for the hospital’s trauma designation. Your expertise will directly support trauma and emergency department physicians during scheduled weekend shifts, ensuring high-quality care for our community. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute your skills while experiencing the uniqueness of working in a busy hospital setting.
Required Skills:
Board Certification in Otolaryngology (MD or D.O.)
Valid medical license and DEA registration
Proven experience with procedures such as adenoidectomy, tonsillectomy, lump/tumor removal, and audiograms
Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced trauma environment
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Nice to Have Skills:
Previous experience working within EPIC EMR systems
Familiarity with Level II Trauma Center protocols
Experience in high-acuity medical settings
Preferred Education and Experience:
Medical degree from an accredited institution
Active board certification in Otolaryngology
Prior locum or trauma center experience preferred but not required
At least 2 years of ENT practice post-residency
Other Requirements:
Availability for scheduled shifts on specified dates in 2026:
July 03 (12pm) to July 06 (7am)
September 04 (7am) to September 08 (7am)
December 24 (7am) to December 28 (7am)
Travel arrangements from your location to Kearney, NE; preferred lodging at Candlewood Suites
Credentialing process completion within 30 to 90 days
Must be eligible for billing enrollment and hold active licensure and certifications
