What You’ll Do
Provide OB hospitalist coverage for high-volume obstetrics hospital
Manage prenatal, labor, delivery, and postpartum care
Respond to labor and gyn emergencies with timely, skilled intervention
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including nursing and specialty physicians
Document care efficiently in hospital records
Participate in emergent and scheduled OB procedures as needed
What You Need
Medical license in Missouri
Board certification or eligibility in OB/GYN or Family Medicine with OB training
Prior hospital or OB hospitalist experience preferred but not required
Strong clinical skills, team-oriented attitude, and excellent communication skills
About the Assignment
This assignment is at a leading hospital in Springfield, MO, known for its comprehensive women's health services and busy maternity unit, with approximately 2,700–3,000 annual births and Level 3 NICU support. You will be part of a dedicated OB hospitalist team ensuring quality care for patients and supporting emergency gyn situations.
