Join Our Team as a Locum - Physician - OB Hospitalist in San Antonio, TX

We are looking for skilled physicians to provide exceptional obstetric and neonatal coverage on a weekend shift basis. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality obstetric care, overseeing antepartum and postpartum patients, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure positive outcomes for mothers and babies. Your expertise will help maintain the highest standards of patient safety and satisfaction.
Required Skills:
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
Valid medical license to practice in Texas
Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
Proven experience in obstetric care, preferably in hospitalist settings
Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience working as a hospitalist in an obstetric setting
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
Bilingual abilities, particularly Spanish and English
Preferred Education and Experience:
Medical degree from an accredited institution
Minimum of 2 years of obstetrics practice, ideally in hospitalist roles
Current Texas medical license and DEA registration
Other Requirements:
Commitment to providing compassionate patient care
Availability for weekend shifts (VMS shift: Weekends)
Ability to start on or before 12/31/2025
Willingness to adhere to all health and safety protocols, including licensure, certification, and travel reimbursements when applicable
