Are you a dedicated OB Hospitalist seeking a flexible opportunity to make a meaningful impact in patient care? We are currently recruiting a skilled Locum Physician to provide top-tier obstetric services in Lima, Ohio. In this position, you will be responsible for managing obstetric patients, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring the highest standards of maternal and fetal medicine. Your role will be crucial in supporting the hospital's commitment to exceptional patient outcomes, especially during weekend shifts.
Required Skills:
Active Ohio medical license and Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology
Proven experience in obstetric and inpatient obstetric care
Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to thrive in fast-paced hospital settings
Nice to Have Skills:
Prior experience as a hospitalist or in a locum capacity
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to new environments
Preferred Education and Experience:
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
Minimum of 2 years of obstetric practice experience
Previous locum or hospitalist experience is advantageous but not mandatory
Other Requirements:
Availability to work weekend shifts, starting December 31, 2025
Willingness to travel and provide necessary documentation for licensure and certifications
Compliance with all hospital, state, and federal health and safety guidelines
