Exciting Locum - Physician - OB Hospitalist Opportunity in La Mesa, CA

Required Skills:
Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in California
Board Certification orEligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
Proven experience managing obstetric patients and deliveries
Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR), specifically Epic
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience working in hospitalist obstetrics or similar inpatient settings
Ability to perform GYN procedures and First Assist duties
Knowledge of high-risk pregnancy management
Experience working with MFM onsite collaboration
Preferred Education and Experience:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an OB Hospitalist or in a comparable hospital setting
Prior experience with Epic EMR system
Other Requirements:
Availability for weekend and day shifts starting 12/31/2025
Willingness to work in a fast-paced hospital environment
Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) preferred
Commitment to delivering patient-centered, quality care
