Required Skills:
Valid medical license and board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology or Family Medicine with OB experience
Proven ability to handle high-acuity obstetric cases with confidence and professionalism
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving capabilities
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment during weekend shifts
Nice to Have Skills:
Previous experience as a locum physician or in a hospitalist role
Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
Bilingual proficiency is a plus, especially in Spanish or other commonly spoken languages in Austin
Preferred Education and Experience:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
Minimum of 2 years of obstetrics/gynecology practice or hospitalist experience, preferably in a locum setting
Other Requirements:
Availability for weekend shift coverage starting 12/31/2025
Current ACLS, ATLS, and BLS certifications
Willingness to travel to the assignment location and to reimbursements for licensure, certification, and travel costs when applicable
