Are you a dedicated Maternal Fetal Medicine specialist seeking a challenging and rewarding locum opportunity? As a vital part of our team, you will deliver comprehensive maternal and fetal care, including consultations and standard procedures within a collaborative hospital environment. Your expertise will support expectant mothers, facilitate necessary diagnostic procedures, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes. Key Responsibilities:
Provide maternal-fetal consultations and standard procedures in clinic and hospital settings
Participate in labor and delivery coverage, including night and holiday calls
Support inpatient ultrasound support and occasional private delivery patients
Collaborate with support staff and utilize the EPIC EMR system to deliver seamless patient care
Maintain compliance with all credentialing requirements and hospital privileges
Required Skills:
Valid medical license and obstetric privileges in Nebraska
Minimum of 20 deliveries within the past 24 months
Proficiency in all standard maternal-fetal medicine procedures
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with hospital-based ultrasound and inpatient consult support
Prior hospital-based Maternal Fetal Medicine practice
Familiarity with EPIC EMR system
Ability to rotate between multiple hospital locations
Preferred Education and Experience:
Board-certified or eligible in Maternal Fetal Medicine
At least 2 years of recent clinical experience in a hospital or clinic setting
Recent practice experience in obstetrics and high-risk pregnancies
Other Requirements:
Availability for scheduled shifts starting as soon as credentialing is completed
Willingness to cover varied schedules, including weekends and holidays
Travel and lodging arrangements preferred at designated hotels
