Key Responsibilities:
Provide OB triage and admissions
Attend deliveries and assist with surgical procedures such as cesarean sections
Manage inpatient care and see unassigned patients
Support ER consults for GYN emergencies
Cover the OB floor and respond to emergencies in Labor and Delivery
Required Skills:
Medical degree (MD or DO) and valid medical license
Proven experience in OB/GYN hospitalist services
Strong skills in obstetric triage, delivery attendance, and emergency response
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with EMR systems and digital health technologies
Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
Prior experience in high-volume hospital settings
Preferred Education and Experience:
Board-certified or board-eligible in OB/GYN
Minimum of 2 years recent hospitalist experience in obstetrics
Prior work in a hospital with active OB/GYN services
Other Requirements:
Availability for specific scheduled dates starting December 25, 2025, including shifts of 7a-7p, 7p-7a, and 24-hour coverage
Ability to credential and work in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to commit to multiple shifts during peak times
Certifications (e.g., BLS, NRP, ACLS)
Compensation for this role is excellent, with an hourly pay rate of $214.50.
