Are you a dedicated general medicine physician seeking flexible, rewarding opportunities to serve our nation's Veterans? We are seeking qualified Locum Physicians to provide essential medical assessments across Virginia. Required Skills:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited program
Active medical license in Virginia
Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or general medicine
Proven ability to perform Comp & Pension exams and health assessments
Strong interview and physical assessment skills, including range of motion and muscle strength testing
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Ability to work independently and adhere to standardized protocols
Nice to Have Skills:
Previous experience working with Veterans or in a government contracting environment
Certification in medical examinations or assessments
Familiarity with VA or military healthcare systems
Bilingual capabilities to serve diverse Veteran populations
Preferred Education and Experience:
Medical degree from an accredited institution
Completion of relevant residency or fellowship programs
Prior experience conducting Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments
Knowledge of VA regulations and procedures
Other Requirements:
Must own or have access to a private office space for conducting exams
Willingness to work on a PRN basis with flexible scheduling (½ or full days)
Ability to complete administrative duties such as report writing and addendums
Travel to multiple locations within Virginia as needed; travel costs included in rates
No prescribing or treatment responsibilities required

Hourly Pay Rate: $800 for 4-hour shifts; $1,600 for 5+ hour shifts. A one-time bonus of $650 is offered upon completing training and onboarding.
