Required Skills:
Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
Valid and unrestricted medical license in Texas
Proven experience in general medicine, family medicine, internal medicine, or relevant fields
Strong diagnostic and physical assessment skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and efficiently manage exam documentation
Nice to Have Skills:
Prior experience with compensation and pension examinations
Familiarity with VA protocols and veteran healthcare services
Additional certifications such as ACLS or BLS
Background in orthopedic or musculoskeletal assessments
Preferred Education and Experience:
MD or DO degree
Minimum of 2 years' clinical experience in a general or internal medicine setting
Previous experience performing C&P exams or similar evaluations is advantageous
Other Requirements:
Availability for part-time scheduling, including half-day (4 hours) and full-day (8 hours) shifts
Ability to complete exams within designated timeframes and submit timely reports
Must have access to a suitable private office within 50 miles of the specified city if working independently
Willingness to perform interview-based evaluations with limited physical assessments; no treatment prescribing or ongoing care involved
Local candidates preferred, with travel included in compensation rates

Hourly Pay Rate: $800 for half-day shifts (4 hours or less) and $1,600 for full-day shifts (5 hours or more). A one-time bonus of $650 is offered upon completing required training and performing initial exams.
