Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) - Behavioral Health - Evening Shift

Required Skills:
Valid LVN license
Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
Proficiency in medication administration, treatments, and documentation
Ability to perform computer data entry (full training provided)
Knowledge of healthcare standards, policies, and regulations (e.g., HHSC, ICF-IDD)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities or behavioral health issues
Familiarity with electronic health records systems
Bilingual abilities
Preferred Education and Experience:
Licensed Vocational Nurse certification with at least 2 years of relevant clinical experience in a healthcare or behavioral health setting
Other Requirements:
Must comply with HHSC immunization and drug testing requirements
Submission to fingerprinting and background checks
Completion of facility and HHSC mandated training
Ability to work evening shifts from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, with alternating days to meet staffing needs
Willingness to start any day during the week with a 5-day processing window before start date
This position offers a competitive pay rate of $37.50 per hour, with weekly pay via direct deposit, comprehensive medical benefits, paid sick time, and additional reimbursements where applicable. The contract duration is six months, with the possibility of extension based on performance and organizational needs.
