Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) - Behavioral Health - Day Shift

Required Skills:
Valid LVN license
Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
Proficiency in medication administration, treatments, and documentation
Ability to perform computer data entry (training provided)
Knowledge of facility Standard Operating Procedures and compliance standards (ICF-IDD Regulations, HHSC Standards)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities or behavioral health issues
Prior experience in a state-supported living or similar healthcare setting
Bilingual abilities are a plus
Preferred Education and Experience:
Licensed Vocational Nurse certification
At least 2 years of relevant nursing experience in a healthcare or behavioral health environment
Other Requirements:
Must comply with HHSC immunization requirements
Must submit to required drug testing and fingerprinting
Completion of facility and HHSC mandated training
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including alternating shifts from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Sunday through Saturday
Willingness to start any day during the week with a 5-day notice for onboarding processing
This full-time, 6-month contract position offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $37.50, along with comprehensive benefits including weekly pay via direct deposit, medical coverage, paid sick time, licensure and certification reimbursements, and a robust referral bonus program.
