Required Skills:
Valid LVN/LPN license
Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
Proficiency in medication administration, treatments, and documentation
Ability to perform computer data entry (full training provided)
Knowledge of facility Standard Operating Procedures and compliance standards (ICF-IDD, DSSLC, HHSC)
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities or behavioral health issues
Prior experience in a state-supported living or similar healthcare environment
Bilingual abilities are a plus
Preferred Education and Experience:
Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in good standing
At least 2 years of relevant nursing experience in a healthcare or residential setting
Other Requirements:
Must meet HHSC immunization requirements
Successful completion of drug testing and fingerprinting as mandated by HHSC
Completion of all facility and HHSC required training
Ability to work 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Willingness to start within five days of completing all pre-employment requirements
Ability to commit to a 6-month contract
