Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LVN/LPN) and make a meaningful difference in patient care. This vital role offers an excellent opportunity to apply your nursing skills in a supportive environment, providing essential services during the mid-shift hours. In this role, you will perform a variety of patient care duties under the supervision of the Unit RN and Nurse Manager. Your responsibilities include managing medication administration and treatments, providing medication education, and ensuring accurate documentation. You will also receive comprehensive training on computer data entry and adhere to facility standards aligned with accreditation agencies such as the Joint Commission, CMS, and HHSC.
Pay Rate: $37.50/hr (Local and Travel Rates available)
Required Skills:
Valid LVN license
Knowledge of medication administration and patient care procedures
Ability to follow detailed protocols and documentation requirements
Strong communication skills
Compliance with HHSC immunization, drug testing, and fingerprinting requirements
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience working in a healthcare facility
Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems
Knowledge of accreditation standards and regulatory compliance
Preferred Education and Experience:
Licensed Vocational Nurse certification
Prior experience in a clinical or hospital setting preferred but not mandatory
Other Requirements:
Must meet HHSC immunization, drug test, and fingerprinting requirements
Willingness to work scheduled hours from 2-10 pm, Monday through Friday
Ability to complete facility and HHSC required training
