Overview:
VieMed Healthcare Staffing is seeking a dedicated and qualified Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join a Residential Living Center in Salina, KS. This role offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth within a supportive environment committed to delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with regulatory standards and facility policies.
Monitor residents’ health status, administer medications, and document care activities accurately.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Educate residents and their families on health conditions and care procedures.
Ensure compliance with all safety and infection control protocols.
Assist in assessing residents’ needs and reporting significant changes to the healthcare team.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in residents’ medical records.
Qualifications:
Valid Kansas State Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
Previous experience in residential or long-term care settings preferred.
Ability to demonstrate compassion, patience, and excellent communication skills.
Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications may be advantageous.
Reliable and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
